Poor Condition
Played in a four ball on Saturday morning. Fairways not mowed, rough nearly impossible to play out of, greens terrible. Bunkers very untidy. At least it was the same for all of us! Food choice of sausage cobs or crisps, beer ok. Disappointed to say the least.Reviewer Rating

Not a bad course for the money, has improved a lot since I played it a few years back. With a bit of money spent this course could be a gem, there are some very nice looking holes.Reviewer Rating

Improving
The course has suffered over the last few years due to lack of care. Now under new management Shaune if giving it the care and attention it needed and it is gradually coming back to its best. It's a course with great potential and good holes.If you stopped coming last year due to poor condition, come back and give it another chance, it's great value and will only get better as it gets worked on.

Cheap and cheerfull
Cheap price of ?10 for 18 holes on a Saturday. Course needed mowing and tidying up throughout. Greens on first nine skimmed and little or no grass left, greens on second nine marginally better. Went in the clubhouse for refreshment, but no food available in the afternoon other than peanuts. Only a few people on the course so no waiting.Reviewer Rating

A value for money course, but once you get past the front 9 it is a little intimidating. Not an easy course for mid to high handicappers. But the value of it makes you come back for more. Not a great course in the winter, as it really struggles to drain off the rain from 2 nights before. Can be extremely boggy. Great in the summer though!

A course that has been neglected massively over the last 2 years. I am thrilled to say it is now once again on the rise. The new owner has taken over and rebranded the place. Now known as caddyshack. Despite the awful weather of late (playing the day after storm Doris) the course held up very well. Some boggy patches off the paths and walkways but all fairways and greens playing as they should be. Give the place a try. There are some wonderful holes that you won't get anywhere else, and some fantastics views. This really is a different kind of course. Brilliant value for money and extremely friendly and welcoming staff.

Good lay out there is some good holes the greens r not so good they need some work on them if they sort the greens out the course would be great

Could be a very good interesting course but needs some serious work from the greenkeepers if they have any.clods of cut grass on fairways, bunkers a complete disgrace.
Greens very hard and impossible to stop any type of shot.worth double what we paid if course up to scratch.

Played here June 2016 and what a dissapointment from our previous visits. The fairways were like semi rough so even if you hit a good one not easy to find your ball. The greens were in very poor condition with weeds and uncut. The overall feel was neglect which is real shame as this is one of the most challenging courses in the area and we love to play, hope they can bring it back to the previous standard otherwise I can see it closing?
