The course has come a very long way since it became Skylark from Quindells.
There is a fair amount of work taking place to turn it from an above average to very good course, none of which was or is intrusive to the round.
In time it will be an excellent course and I'm glad that it's my 'local'!!

A short course with a lot of drainage and new bunker work going on, but the existing course is in good condition. Greens recently top dressed so inconsistent speed. Most greens a bit flat. Requires thoughtful course management. Would certainly play it again

Arrived at the course to be told that one hole was out and there were a couple of temporary greens due to course maintenance - got £5.00 off the round. They are putting a lot of drainage in together with paths for the winter months for buggies.This did not detract from the course itself. The greens were possibly the best I have ever played on. The Green keepers are doing some excellent work and every time we return there has been major improvements. A must visit course.

Course very much improving with the high levels of investment. Excellent greens and nice white bunkers with plenty of sand. Course in good condition. Lack of length is the main downfall of this course as only 5189 yards off the yellows. I believe after improving drainage they will review the yardage of the course.
