First and foremost: this is a country club, not a golf club. There is no pro shop. However, it is a lovely setting and the clubhouse looks superb.
The course is, surprisingly (considering some of the prior reviews) rather nice. Today was the first dry day in quite a while, and we found the course to be quite well drained and trim. The fairways were in superb condition and the rough was manicured, yet long enough to pose a challenge. Fairways are tight and there are also quite a few rather attractive water hazards.
The greens could have been better. There were some unrepaired pitchmarks and some were a little springy, but I attribute this to the month's worth of rain we had during one day the day before. We also played on a Wednesday evening, and I suspect they are trimmed towards the back end of the week for the benefit of the members over the weekend.
In any case, this is a nice little course. It is challenging and would appear to be reasonably well looked after. There are some terrible bunkers, plenty of water, and greens are generally small (and interestingly shaped), and to be found at the end of fairways which do not always invite you to get the driver out of the bag. Shot selection is important at Quindell, and big hitters will not have an advantage.
In short: I very much enjoyed the round at Quindell. I shall return!

Great par 3's
I really enjoy this course and the par 3's were a real highlight, most of them have water involved and they are short iron shots mainly so you can give them a real go. This course has an American feel and has a real nice setup with the clubhouse and practice areas although a driving range would top this place off.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 17.4)

Surprisingly Good
Played the course today and was pleasantly surprised. Holes are quite short, but don’t be fooled by this as your tee shot can get you into a lot of trouble if you try and bomb it to the green and fail. You need to position yourself from the tee to the fairway. Greens are quite small, so you need to be straight with your approach shots. Course was quite wet,(but what course isn’t after 2 beasts from the East!) but you can see that the owners have done some seriously major work to help the course drain. In a world where everyone thinks that 7,000 yd plus courses are the in thing, It’s definitely worth a visit to a course where reaching for the Driver on every par 4 isn’t the done thing. You have to think your way around. Especially as today there was a 25mph Easterly wind.Reviewer Rating

First vist
Haven't previously played or considered playing here due to course short length and jumped up wannabees reputation, but proved wrong. Everything in good condition apart from areas worked on still bedding in or waiting to be. Big negative is number of buggy driving hackers holding up play and not showing any course maintenance. But really enjoyed playing the course, which is very well tended to. Not overly challenging due to openness but still a very worthy challenge. Excellant bunkers & greens, but a few too many tees a bit grim letting it down a touch. That said I'll be joining this week!!(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 77 Handicap: 11.8)

Greens were in very poor condition.
Course played OK though and seemed longer than its 5000 and odd yards.
3, 12, 16, 18 are particularly good holes.
