Nice varied course, but suprised to be playing off mats in dry sunny conditions. No bar for non members but we were welcomed into the members bar. Good cafe for hungry players.Reviewer Rating

Ok but not great. Nothing real complaints just not as good as Belfairs or Hainault which are similar style courses but more interesting and more enjoyable to play.

Very Wet

Golf great but Socially terrible
It starts with changes to public car parking which was a real shambles and having to download an app and can't get through on the phone. Thankfully a kindly sole gave me their ticket so..next the golf (we play Hartswood about 8 times a year) course was good and receptive and challenging and enjoyable. Next post-round drinks, now visitors are locked out of a members area to be left with the screaming kids in the new soft play area. Going to a hatch behind the bar in the public area to find a kid serving who had no idea what a lager was or a cider (no training) terrible service. We were treated like lepers despite being regular non members disgusted. So angry and dissapointed.Reviewer Rating

Hartswood visit
Building work causing parking chaos and signs suggesting you need to pay for parking! You don't!! Refreshment facilities are part of the council development. Poor that you can't use the bar. Course in good condition, fairways have excellent grass coverage and greens were true, although a bit slow.Excellent well stocked pro shopReviewer Rating

Challenging course, long walk between some of the holes!! Would like to play again when it is not sodden.

Good condition considering it is a public course.
Mature course and accurate tee shots are required to score well.

Great little course
Great course used to play when i was a kid, a few water additions which add to the tricky nature. Sadly the greens were a bit bumpy, i will definitely play again later in the summer.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 81 Handicap: 14.4)

Tough little track!!!
Greens and club house and Pro shop really good with great service and value. Tee boxes in poor condition and rock solid, so much so you could not get a tee in most of the time.For a pay and play, it is a real challenge and interesting.
