Played the course prior to a society meeting in a few weeks time. From the website it looked a bit flat and uninteresting. Having played it, flat yes (good walking course). Uninteresting not really, although the fairways are generous there are some hazards that you take on at your peril. There is not a lot of bunkers on the course (all in very good condition for the time of the year and drain well it appears) which is a bit of a shame as I think it would enhance the course.
The greens had been 'top dressed' for the summer but despite that the greens were true and a similiar pace on all 18 greens.
Special mention for the staff, what a happy bunch, who really engaged with the customer and seemed to be enjoying their work as opposed to some places I have been.
I can imagine the low handicappers being a bit 'sniffy' about the course but I had a great day, despite a bitter wind and a bit of snow (end of April!!!!).
Looking forward to our society meeting in May.
Look on their website for deals we had 4 for the price of three and £5 off if we played again within 5 days which sadly not able to do.

Good course in good condition, even though the greens had just had work done on them they had good pace and ran true.

Played this parkland course which is kept in very god condition, fairway's are good greens are challenging.

An excellent parkland course which has cope very well with the recent weather we have had, although they have lost over a hundred trees this did not disrupt players playing.

Interesting course, greens present a challenge as they are very contoured and quite easily mis read. Fairways generally wide and allow confident tee shots.
