Played in a society at the course last Friday and it was the best condition I have seen it since I have been playing there. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast beforehand - take time to visit, you wont be disappointed!!

Course in good condition, greens had just been sanded and therefore didn't run true, but come Summer the course should be very good.

Played the course prior to a society meeting in a few weeks time. From the website it looked a bit flat and uninteresting. Having played it, flat yes (good walking course). Uninteresting not really, although the fairways are generous there are some hazards that you take on at your peril. There is not a lot of bunkers on the course (all in very good condition for the time of the year and drain well it appears) which is a bit of a shame as I think it would enhance the course.
The greens had been 'top dressed' for the summer but despite that the greens were true and a similiar pace on all 18 greens.
Special mention for the staff, what a happy bunch, who really engaged with the customer and seemed to be enjoying their work as opposed to some places I have been.
I can imagine the low handicappers being a bit 'sniffy' about the course but I had a great day, despite a bitter wind and a bit of snow (end of April!!!!).
Looking forward to our society meeting in May.
Look on their website for deals we had 4 for the price of three and £5 off if we played again within 5 days which sadly not able to do.
I am a great fan of Chiddingfold as the staff are great and it is a lovely little track. This ran it very close indeed and that is praise indeed.

Hadn't played here for a couple of years. Slight delay in going on early morning due to fog which was understandable as you couldn't see more than about 10m for quite a while. Very welcoming in the pro shop and they eventually let us go off the 10th to avoid the morning roll up and a couple of society's which was appreciated as playing as a 2 ball. Course in excellent condition given the recent weather. Greens were good. The course is open in places then a little more tree lined on some of the shorter par 4's which makes it interesting. Relatively flat so easy walking if that's a consideration. New franchise running the bar in the clubhouse apparently. HAd lunch in there after the round and both beer and food were good. Will be back relatively soon to play again.

Great Course

Played this for the first time on August 15th.I have played many course throughout Sussex and Kent and this is right up there for me.Both myself and my friend play off 16 and 18 handicap and we found the course a good test. The bunkers are well placed and the course has been thoughtfully set out with contoured fairways and mounds to make the holes challenging. The par 3's are great too.The guys in the clubhouse and guy in the Pro shop were very welcoming.I can't wait to go back and have another crack at it now I know the layout.I highly recommend this course.

The course is not long but has some nice holes, the tougher holes are on the front nine. There are three consecutive holes under 300 yards on the back nine. A couple of holes could be tricky to find if you didn't look at the map on the course. The fairways were nice looking with some lush semi rough along the edges. The greens had some good shapes, they looked good and the ball rolled smoothly on the surface. The driving range was well positioned and good value.
