Played this course for the first time. After a few days of rain it was very soggy underfoot like most courses. But amazingly the greens were in great condition. The course itself was a lot of fun with sone interesting holes. A course that you have to plot around with lay ups etc. I am looking forward to playing again in summer conditions. Only downside, i believe it’s a popular function place so clubhouse/bar were closed :9 nowhere to get a drink or bite to eat.

A ten-person competition to honour my father. Really enjoyable afternoons golf at Woolston Manor. Always a challenge and friendly, many thanks to the excellent professional Tony for helping us. The weather was changeable but nice overall. Friendly clubhouse and food and drink (even if the prices were a bit high). The course was in reasonable condition although greens were very slow at times. Recommended

What an improvement!
The course has greatly improved from 18 moths ago, the greens were poor and the overall look of the course looked untidy. Fast forward 18 months and the course now look great, bunkers have been tidied up, more definition to the fairways and the greens are unrecognisable. They have put a great deal of effort into the course, so fair play to them for getting the course back on track.Reviewer Rating

Well presented challenge
Spaciously laid out course, with some interesting holes around water and hidden tees. A challenge for golfers of all abilities to pick their shots. The bunkers may have needed fresh sand and tidying, but otherwise the fairways and greens were excellent, given it's first week out of lockdown.Reviewer Rating

Worth a visit
Good course and facilities. Will play it again but in the summer. You need to plot your way round the course. First time i played it so lost a few balls . Plenty of water and plenty of bunkees.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 110 Handicap: 19.3)

Good challenge of golf
Touch course with river roding running through it. Lots of shots with water coming into play either alongside fairway, in front of green or both.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 82 Handicap: 16.7)

good course would play there again, loads of dog legs making it challenging for you to get your shots right. greens were a little bobbly but altogether in good condition..
