Challenging Course
Excellent and challenging layout with varied course. There are bunkers in every hole protecting the green and with river Roding running through, there are plenty of hazards. Though challenging the course is also very rewarding. Course condition is very good with improvement can be seen.Reviewer Rating

A reasonable challenge
We played in November. The greens were very good for the most part. Some had been spiked. The fairways were also in decent condition. The trouble cam when your ball stayed off the fairway. Too many leaves which haven't been cleared, causing major issues finding the ball. Pace of play was good which was sometimes hindered by players looking for balls off the fairway.Reviewer Rating

Despite recent heavy rain the course was playable. The greens had recently been worked on and the fairways were well cut.Parts of the course were a little slippery and needed to be walked with care.

Amazing course, very testing, with fast greens, would recommend for more experienced golfers

Really enjoyed the course, too many bunkers, it's certainally a good challenge. Greens were rolling true despite being patchy, I will play this course again.

Decent course, was pleasantly surprised given that some of the comments here implied it was not always in the best condition.
Open fairways which is good if you spray your driver but may not challenge enough for some. That said each hole still has a degree of difficulty, normally due to a seemingly high amount of bunkers around the green. The bunkers were in good condition, as were the tee boxes and fairways, although the greens were a little inconsistent in pace and had a lot of pitch marks that were unrepaired although that is more down to the players than the club's fault and the weather could have played a hand in the pace.
Overall for the money I thought it was very good value and in good condition. The pro in the club house was very friendly and although I didn't stay for a drink it looked welcoming to do so.
