Played a twilight round here today. Great value at £20 + £22 for a buggy. I’ve wanted to play here for about 15 years and jeez it was so worth the wait. Despite the par of 69 it has got to be one of the most challenging ones I’ve ever played anywhere. The greens immaculate and true, and two holes especially the 18th and the one on the McKenzie hole can offer comedy moments where you have to be on the right level. Tees were immaculate. Bunkers full of sand really I cannot fault this course.
The only gripe one of our group had and I will say that this didn’t bother me was the crossing of some of the holes. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Cannot wait to play here again and again.

Top quality

The greens were like glass a real challenge putting. Probably in the best condition I have seen. Friendly clubhouse staff with excellent food prepared by Rachel.

This is a beautiful golf course with 18 different, interesting and challenging holes. The club personnel and members were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The clubhouse was wonderful with food and drink of a very high standard. The best club in Eastbourne by far.

What an absolute Gem of a course! Compact, but very well designed (as you'd expect from a McKenzie) Greens were slow, due to wet conditions, but very true. Some lovely holes on the course and wonderful tee boxes nestled in trees. I went with a friend visiting from the Midlands on a Teetimes deal of just £15 and we both agreed we'd have been happy paying far more than that. Did take a buggy, which helps with the large undulations on the holes, but well worth a look and repeat visit. A few testing +200 yard Par 3's, but not card killers.

Well sheltered course nestling in the downs near Eastbourne. Very friendly clubhouse and pro shop and catering to a good standard. Excellent value for money. This course is always in good condition and is a great place to play in the winter as it is sheltered from the prevailing bad weather. Often good deals on offer including a meal/round of golf for under £25. Recommended.

as soon as you arrive and see the course you know you have arrived at something special, a good test and the course plays longer than 5800 yards, hilly in places but not too bad, fairways and greens in great condition all year round
