Good condition
I was pleasantly surprised considering the weather we have been having, the greens were in good condition and there was no big mud patches around, I felt had the weather been kinder I could had a really good round.

Hidden Gem in Eastbourne
In Eastbourne you have the two main Golf Clubs and Willingdon, then there is this gem. Lovely mixed 9 hole with some great views. The only downside was minimal signage and the greenkeeper agreed with me.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 56 Handicap: )

(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 42 Handicap: )

Little gem in Eastbourne
Lovely 9 hole course, not to be overlooked if you come or live near to Eastbourne.

(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 40 Handicap: )

not an easy 9 hole course
Lots of work done to the course which has really improved it. 9 holes in the evening is not cheap. a twilight deal should be offered(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 43 Handicap: )

(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 49 Handicap: )

A Cresswell
Poorly maintained and overpriced. £13 for 9 holes playing off a piece of fake turf. The pace was excruciatingly slow and the fairways and greens were poorly maintained. No refunds stated on entry. Left after 5 holes.

Really good course for beginners
I like the fact the holes are not too long which encourages beginners to play. It is cheap as well.Main down side is the slow play. We were waiting 15 minutes to tee off for some holes. Tee times on sunny, busy days would help.

Great little course
Had many great afternoons round this course

Great 9 hole course
Great course which has had a lot of work done, greens in great condition(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 40 Handicap: )

(Round played: Apr 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 25.4)

All of the regular tee's and the greens were still in play (15Dec16) which is good for the time of year. However the greens were desperately in need of rolling as they were very bumpy.
Also the members seem particularly bad at repairing pitch marks some greens were littered with unrepaired ones.
The club house bar and restaurant was looking good and the sausage roll I ate on this visit was nice.
One final criticism and room for improvement would be the course signage. The fairway yardages are marked with painted discs sunken into the centre of the fairways... not so good if you're playing from the fringe/rough. But the worst part was green to tee signage or rather the lack of..
As a first time visitor I found it difficult especially with no map on the scorecard.
