Poorly maintained and overpriced. £13 for 9 holes playing off a piece of fake turf. The pace was excruciatingly slow and the fairways and greens were poorly maintained. No refunds stated on entry. Left after 5 holes.Reviewer Rating

Played there for the first time today and I have to say rather disappointed. £13 for 9 holes on a very boggy course with poor greens is not good value for money. The course itself is well laid out with a couple of challenging par 4s and I would assume that in the summer the course would present itself more favourably.

not a bad course, fairways are fairly tight but a good drive gets you on the green or very close on nearly all the holes. its only a nine hole course though.

Good course for beginners however only needs to be played once. Excellent use of space by the designer. First hole is a tight shot as if you go to the right even by 10 yards you will be on the driving range. 3rd hole is long and a challenge, probably almost par 5 worthy. All the holes are different and provide a different challenge.
However the course doesn't restrict numbers on the course so you will find yourself waiting around; on our round we were asked to let a group of gentleman through as they new the course pro ... then went on to slow us down.
Lots of youngsters on the course, often find yourself waiting for ball searchers.
Not worth the amount of money they charge and not worth playing 18.
Need to lower green fees as the course isn't particularly well kept, would expect to pay £10-15 for 18 here.

Small 9 hole course
Not a bad little course with plenty of hazards to challenge most golfers, greens are a bit naff at the moment but hopefully will improve by the summerReviewer Rating

Short course that has some variety with elevation and dog legs but no par 5's. Not recommended for anyone who is drawn to water as there is plenty of it here!
All of the regular tee's and the greens were still in play (15Dec16) which is good for the time of year. However the greens were desperately in need of rolling as they were very bumpy.
Also the members seem particularly bad at repairing pitch marks some greens were littered with unrepaired ones.
The club house bar and restaurant was looking good and the sausage roll I ate on this visit was nice.
One final criticism and room for improvement would be the course signage. The fairway yardages are marked with painted discs sunken into the centre of the fairways... not so good if you're playing from the fringe/rough. But the worst part was green to tee signage or rather the lack of..
As a first time visitor I found it difficult especially with no map on the scorecard.

the clubhouse has improved a lot, plenty of sand and water to make this little course quite challenging .

Hi played here on Wed 27 Apr charged £19 pounds for 18 holes quite a challenge
