Good, bad and ugly.
Let’s start with the good. Friendly club and in a nice and peaceful setting. The bad - Very open course with small greens. So much potential but needs shaping to give the holes character and larger USPGA greens would suit here. The two Par 5s run parallel and offer almost identical plays.
The ugly - Every single green apron was GUR within zero evidence of any work being done. The general areas around the greens were appalling. This, plus the vast openness made for a pretty repetitive game. When there are so many other courses close by, this course is potentially great, but sadly lacking.

Was expecting more
As a member of another club it's always nice to try out other courses. We decided to give Wickham a try last week and really should not have bothered. Playing mostly off worn out matts, a temporary green even tho website stated no temps, fairways covered in moss and very poor signage between holes and when on tee most hole numbers missing. I will not be playing here againReviewer Rating

Pleasant staff, rude members
Not the hardest golf course I’ve played, but challenging enough to keep you interested. Course was bone dry due to heatwave. Greens were well watered, good but a bit “furry” unfortunately the tee areas were very poor as was the signage to direct you to the next tee. Especially from the 5th green to 6th tee which is a bit of a walk. Was very disappointed with rude attitude of a few members when I asked for directions.Reviewer Rating

Not the best
Needs a bit of TLC. Fairways scorched and areas around the greens very barren and no grass in areas.Reviewer Rating

Open fairways and a couple of challenging holes.
