The course is drying out nicely and the greens are in good condition.

Don't fall into the trap of not respecting this course as it is a 9 hole track - they are 9 very good holes, with absolutely no gimme holes. Very well maintained and a friendly welcome just 2 miles from Castleford town centre

Very good course at the moment parts of the course fairways are a bit bare the greens are in very good condition.

I became a member july 2013 after playing the course for years when owned by the council. I played a round in july and after taking a rest for 10 months and could not belive the masive improvements that been made in such a short time.i would highly recommend this course to anyone and it will only get better with time and the hardwork of the new green keeping team.

Played this course last week, great little 9 hole course and greens are in great condition for this time of year. Couldn't believe how dry course was was considering amount of rain we had that week. Great value and course is coming on big time.
