Poor Greens
The best way I can describe the course as a whole would be to say it just feels a little 'threadbear" - the greens are poor to very poor, oh and it's not cheap. If it was a fiver a round I would have no issue.Reviewer Rating

The course is in awful condition the fairways there isn't any grass on most! Does it hire a greens keeper?

the course is well set out, but tired. it needs a private company to inject some care & attention to it. if that happens it will become a very desireable 9 holer.

Cheap and cheerful. Some nice looking holes but it does need to be looked after better; you get what you pay for £12.20 for 18 holes on a Saturday. Worth a round if you can't get on anywhere else. The bar was closed at 4pm on a Saturday which was a shame.

The course is a challenge, it is improving slowly. The bunkers are being attended to. The best hole is the 7th/16th almost a 90 degree angle from tee to pin. It will take a big drive to clear the rough over the trees but the trees can be cleared, is it worth loosing a ball?

Played Whitwood for the 1st time. A reasonably well maintained course. Some challenging holes for the average golfer with various sloping fairways and tees!
