Vast improving course that is getting the much needed maintenance that was lacking previous . Would recommend to any beginner or for a quick stress release for 2 hours .

Good value for money course that has really improved . I came for the first time since last year and was very impressed with the improvements . Would recommend to anyone for a quick 9 or a full 18 .

First ever round of golf so I have nothing to compare it to. The greens were very green and in great condition, the fairways were dry and fast and some of the rough was very mean to beginners. The other golfers were friendly and the guy in the shop was very pleasant, which was welcome. I will definitely play this course again, good value.

Nice staff, good mix of holes. Some short and long par 4's, par 3's are testing uphill 160-170yrds and 2 par 5's

It doesnt look pretty and it is not in perfect shape but it plays nice. Couple of great holes. Especially the 8th where the green is carved into a step hill. Intresting approach shot is required. All in all the course is not really easy on the eye but plays nice. 8/10

surprisingly good
i?d heard from other golfers i knock about that this was a rough course and i wasn't expecting much but i was pleasantly surprised, really friendly in the clubhouse, if your not on fairway then yeah your in trouble but the greens were all flat and nice and true. yeah when i saw a 3 ball in front put there stand bags and a trolley on the green it was a poor sight but i?d go back as i enjoyed the challenge and i did play well which helps but yeah not for proper posh golfers but for us that we're brought up to play lupset, gotts park and those municipal courses with the same problemsReviewer Rating

Played Whitwood for the 1st time. A reasonably well maintained course. Some challenging holes for the average golfer with various sloping fairways and tees!
