Challenging Golf Course
Society Golf Day. The golf course is excellent. The layout is challenging as there are 4 long par 3 holes with danger everywhere. The golf course is tree lined with no rough in the wooded areas so you can always find a way out without being doubly penalised which is always a good thing. The best feature has to be the greens, they are excellent, not one bobble, a true surface. There are a few hills to climb so be aware, especially at the 11th & 18th, Overall a challenging golf course with a difficult back 9, which is something that isn't normally the case with a par 68 and slope 117 rating. The staff are very accommodating too, with excellent hospitality and food.Reviewer Rating

Expensive to play
This is a nice little course but the fees are soooo expensive, after talking to a few members we have decided to join stand just around the corner, more of a golfers course with course management needed, membership is near £900 and £30 just for around of golf at whitefield, really shouldnt be more than £800 here and tops £20 for guests,ok the par 3s are tough but 5 par 3s is just to many on a course with only 1 par 5 on the hole course, this is more of a pensioners course hence the lack of long holes,Reviewer Rating

Testing Par3s
Played several times, always think Whitefield has the hardest set of Par 3s than most courses I've played. Greens weren't the best & as part of a society, ?35 for a round and a sausage barm. was over-priced.Reviewer Rating

Tough day out, quite a challenge
I found this course a tough one, quite tight in places. The greens were pretty fast and in great condition. Having only played it once I would have to play again to give a more accurate review but playing off 22 it was a challenge. I will go back to have another goReviewer Rating

Great Course
Played the course this last week. course was in excellent condition and greens very true. Fantastic value for money and the par 3s are very tough but a good challenge. Pro Shop made us very welcome and great selection of equipment. On the downside when we finished at 4pm the spike bar was closed and Could not get a drink or some food. Good Pub around the corner who accommodated us but would have been nice to have a drink on balcony overlooking the course.Reviewer Rating
