Testing Par3s
Played several times, always think Whitefield has the hardest set of Par 3s than most courses I've played. Greens weren't the best & as part of a society, ?35 for a round and a sausage barm. was over-priced.Reviewer Rating

Greens in great nick
Course was in a great condition.Greens were were like carpet and running so true.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
Played an open comp here in May 2019. Layout is good but the greens have to be the worst in the North West. My back garden is better! Finished in 2nd place and despite various promises, calls, emails, texts still not received my prizes over 5 months later. Disgraceful.Reviewer Rating

Great course
We found the course to be in great condition apart from the society playing before us did not mend any pitch marks, rake any bunkers etc. We spent time fixing the greens and sorting the bunkers out when we went in them. The "Britannia Golf Society" needs to be named and shamed or pick their game up.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 100 Handicap: 14.9)

Course was very soft from the rain 2 days earlier and the bunkers were very compacted, but with the amount of rain it was expected.
Greens were still very fast and true, fairways were lovely.
Great course, going again next week too.

Can't praise this golf course enough ! Some fantastic holes, the long par 3's will challenge golfers of all abilities. Happy to walk off the 200 yrd 5th with a par !The greens despite being a little soft rolled out true and had some good pace to them. Bunkers well maintained and presented. Many holes well tree lined so accuracy is key to score well on this course. Some undulating holes but would not class it as a hilly course. Can't wait to play here again a real cracker of a golf course.

I think overall this is the most difficult course i have played to achieve a GOOD score while par is only 68 you must be at the top of your game and concentration to score well.It is also my current favourite course

The greens are excellent and the overall condition of the course is great. It's a good test of my skills, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The condition, layout, and price are all superb.
