Deceptively difficult course. Flat parkland course but rough is very unforgiving short but ball sinls down into it. Fairways and greens in very good condition. Greens very fast.

Does get a bit dull
Nice enough track but there are so many 380-400yd par fours and you feel you are simply going up and down and up and down. Could have done with a bit more variation.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 93 Handicap: 18.5)

Good, reasonably straightforward course. Easy walking. Condition was excellent. Not very crowded and good value with a National Golf Passport

Nice interesting course. Mainly flat. I found the fairways a bit on the generous side myself, although my regular course has narrow fairways. The greens looked patchy but ran fairly fast and true. Well kept fairways and rough. The problem that ruined the course for me was the bunkers, they were like concrete dusted with sand! Some did have about a centimetre of sand but not enough to be confident of getting a measured shot.

Very warm welcome from staff and members alike. Temp greens in use on 5 holes, bit of a shame as the greens in use were very good.

A little gem
First time I've played this and really glad I did. It's a lovely course and well worth a visit. The layout is very good and the course conditions were v.good. Greens rolled very well and very consistent (and surprisingly fast). Not the most difficult course, but it's not a really forgiving course either. I came off with 3 doubles, which is the most in 2 seasons - play off 8.Reviewer Rating
