The course is quite hill and long walks between the greens and some of the tee boxes on some holes it was in good condition with some challenging par 3's

Nice course but a long old walk!

Quiet on a Thursday afternoon so enjoyed a steady round without being held up or chased round.

Course generally in good condition, some recent photos looked a tad generous compared with reality with quite a few nicely manicured tee boxes being preserved with tees slightly ahead or to the side.

Good variety of holes, well worth a buggy as it’s quite hilly and whilst only just over 6000 yards there must be an extra couple of thousand with the walks between some holes.

Bunkers, fairways and greens all in decent condition, albeit the latter felt a little slow at times.

Will definitely return...once the legs have recovered!

Most enjoyable fourball on a course that has been well-maintained despite cv lockdown. Greens, tees and fairways all very neat. Greens a little slow but consistent. Rough was exactly that, but the fairways are generous with a fair first cut of rough to catch those shots only slightly off line. Good variety of challenges with a few blind shots, some water and a number of slopes to cope with. A few stamina-sapping walks between holes. Great views and a welcoming pro-shop.

Excellent venue and great for society golf

Wharton Park is a really challenging course that has been in great condition both times my society has played it. Have always found the staff easy to deal with and very responsive on email, which is a great help when organising a day at any venue.

The course was in great condition again, with fairways smooth and greens true and medium fast. The course is well maintained and attractive views are all around when the weather is nice, as it was for our trip. Buggies are available at a good rate and cope with the terrain on a full battery charge.

The course is challenging without being overly penal unless you stray into some of the thick rough or woods that surround many holes. There are also many interesting slopes and bumps to negotiate on many holes, particularly the dogleg par 7th down the hill from within the woods.

The staff we met were all friendly and helpful and the drinks are reasonably priced for your post round 19th hole visit. I would thoroughly recommend this course to any visiting society.

A very attractive course visually with lots of variety. Well-maintained although the greens were a lot slower than they looked and it appeared that sprinkler water had compacted the sand in some of the bunkers. This is not a course that can be sprinted round, as there are some extensive and occasionally steep walks from greens to tees. Nonetheless a pleasant place to play.

superb

considering our tee off was Sunday afternoon the course was extremely busy but in excellent condition. A buggy is essential as there is a lot of walking green to tee.

A course ever one should visit

This was the third time I have played the course first time was in winter a couple of years ago second time was in the middle of last year's heatwave and this time beginning of spring course was in excellent shape on all visits admired there were a couple of tees off the mat but that didn't spoil the overall enjoyment great day out
