Having recently got back into playing golf after a few years out i decided to try links golf ..this course is definitely the best in my area especially during the winter months no temporary tees or greens its a real credit to the hard work put in by all the greenkeeping staff. The course will test any good golfer and beginners alike . Excellent friendly staff and good food in the very old clubhouse which gives you a sense of the great tradition of the club as a whole.

Enjoyable but no more than that. Very flat (as to be expected on a links course) but lacking in any great charm or interest.
Clubhouse is very dated and during our visit reeked of cooked cabbage !

We played one of our society events at Weston this weekend. First and foremost the course is excellent. Its quite understated, but is very nice to play and in excellent condition. In my eyes its one of the most enjoyable courses to play in the area.

The welcome we recieved from everyone at the club was superb, from the clubhouse to the pro-shop no-one could be more helpful. Just an excellent service.

My only quibble would be that it seems a tiny bit over-priced, was right on our limit for how much we'd normally look to pay, but if money wasnt a factor I'd thoroughly reccomend it.

WSM is a good solid links golf course. The course was in great condition and has enough about it to keep you thinking all the way around. The greens were really good along with the fairways, the rough wasn't overly punishing which was nice considering how much the wind got up! I would 100% recommend playing here and would be a great introduction for someone into links golf.

Played WSM in the Captains day June 2015.
Excellent day out for a great charity.
From tee to green the course was in great condition.
Greens ran true, quick and were receptive to a good shot.
Battled against and with the wind all afternoon, but fairways held the ball well.
All said, a very enjoyable round.

Weston hosted the golf society from Weston Cricket Club.\Despite raining all night and morning there were no obvious signs in the afternoon and the course was in excellent condition especially the greens.\Food afterwards was excellent and provided fantastic value for money. we have already booked to go back in March.

A lovely links course in excellent condition. The greens run fast and true, the fairways are clearly defined. Not the toughest challenge in the world, but the wind certainly makes a difference. The clubhouse is the original building from the 1900s, traditional and friendly. The food is all freshly prepared and good value for money, there are a couple of real ales, a choice of ciders and a couple of lagers and of course Guinness. Overall a great experience.
