Great little course

When you find this course (trust the postcode on satnav) you will get to a little car park which can accommodate 20 cars max. The pro shop is well stocked and staffed with a pleasant and friendly staff member who did all he could for me.
The course itself was in very good condition considering the rain the area has had recently , the greens were surprisingly quick with some evil dips and ridges that made putting challenging but fun, Nice green fairways and some interesting trap positions, don't be lulled into false security by the superb views all around or you'll stray into some nasty rough.
At a price of £15 for 9 holes it's great value for all abilities and I would recommend the course to visitors.
The only markdown for me is a lack of a clubhouse but hot drinks and limited snacks are available from the pro shop and you can sit in or outside.

Can’t fault the views. Course was in reasonable condition but tees are poor. Too short of a course for a good day out. 275 yard longest par 4

reasonable venue

this course is great for an average golfer or beginner, it's maintained to a good standard and being situated on a hill is near enough always open ,the cost is reasonable with the staff being friendly and helpful
There is a good outdoor practice range, chipping area and practice green
the course has no clubhouse as such but food and drink are available from the pro shop.

It’s ok for a quick 9 but not for a good day golfing. I play it a few times in the summer after work mainly for the views which are spectacular. The course hasn’t really progressed over the years, it’s on par with the other 9 holers and pitch and putts in the area

The 2 par 5s are nice holes, but all the par 4s are drivable and the greens are rock hard meaning you can’t pitch in to the green on the par 3s. Don’t understand why there’s no apron meaning the banks around the green go right up to the greens edge. You’re either putting or chipping out of tufty grass?! It looks good and the bunkers are nicely placed, but doesn’t play to a very high standard of golf.

Not a bad course for a beginner or a very high handicapper, kind of a step between pitch and putt and a “proper” golf course. Ok condition but no club house or anything makes it even more pitch and putt like. I’d play again for the views, not the course, or the green fees

Well worth a visit

This is a nice 9 hole course, good layout and great views from the top, its a shame they don't make different tees for the back 9 but won't stop me visiting again. Guys doing a very good job during the pandemic

It?s ok

Another venue we tried because our local course is closed because of the bad weather. Course not very interesting or challenging but in reasonable condition. Perhaps a bit expensive to play a 9-hole course twice. Surprised there was no clubhouse and bar (may tell us this on their website, hadn't looked). Locals very friendly, man in shop less so. Wouldn't recommend it to others but would play it again if other better courses weren't available

Dreadful. Was told about the course a few months back by a friend raving about it but I think it was a joke as it’s one of the worst courses I’ve played in regards to condition. Greens not cut evenly, longer grass on the fairway than the 1st cut, banks longer than the rough and awful tee mats. £10-£12 for 18 holes I’d accept, but £22??

Great Value for Money with great views

Really enjoyable little course, greens were in decent nick. Nice touch to be given 30 free warm up balls for the range. Only ?11 for 9 holes.

Considering the recent dry weather it was in great condition. I play it a couple times every year and there is always work being done to improve the course with 4 or 5 new bunkers and tees under construction now. The trees are maturing (slowly) and will transform the course!
