What the club says: Situated on Worlebury hill, it lies between the M5 junction 21 (2 miles away) and the seaside town of Weston super Mare. Its location affords stunning views overlooking the Severn Estuary, Wales and The Mendips. At the far end of the course is the old Observatory which was converted from a Windmill in the 1870's.

The course was one of a number designed by Harry Vardon (winner of 7 major championships) and his brother Alfred, who was the club professional for 16 years.

Course in good condition

Please that the course was in such good condition as the night before was very heavy rain. One or two of the holes i think needed to be batter sign posted as it was the first time of playing at the greens difficult to find as a few of the holes had either large dog leg or very little indication signs. The staff very helpful at the pro shop and also at the bar.Would highly recommend this course as we were guests for the day from vouchers issued from a competition.

Nice condition

Teed off at 2,20 but unfortunately we had a group of 4 playing a final competition match and one of the group of players was refusing to let us through which was very inconsiderate as they had no one in front of them and over 2 hours 15 for 9 holes was well over time he finally let us through when he lost his ball on the 10 and had to retake so we got through with no one for at least 4 holes in front of us not a very good member for the club ????

Lovely golf course, tight with tree lined fairways, sandy greens as alot of water over night. Very enjoyable, would play again.

Greens in great condition, very slick for this time of year. A bit of bunker work going on, but course was in very good condition and buggies were still allowed on the course.
Helpful staff, nice clubhouse, highly recommend

Nice course with a quirky set up not the longest course in the world, however a test for all abilities as game management required a real test when the winds blowing

Not the longest or easiest!

Although not very long Worlebury has small greens and tight fairways so is a good golfing challenge.
Very friendly people and excellent greens staff who are really bringing out the best of this course.

I played in a match here in the weekend, it was the first time i had visited the course, arrived to a very nice clubhouse with friendly staff. the breakfast was OK however they were catering for a large group all eating at the same time so couldn\'t complain. I am told its normally excellent.\the course was awesome, truly loved it. every hole makes you think, the views were stunning, the greens were pristine as were the fairways. well worth a visit. my only criticism would be the layout is a bit odd but that is easily overlooked. will definitely visit again...
