I went there to play a round on Sunday 17th May 2015, and the course was smothered in daises and buttercups. There was a gate with barbed wire preventing access and from what I could see, the driving range had been dismantled as were the bridges across the brooks!! It looks like someone has had an offer they couldn't refuse from developers!!
WHAT a shame in my opinion, it was a lovely little course and reasonable at £6. I'm VERY sorry to see it go!!

A small course that is tucked away on a tiny little road that you'll miss if you blink.

Cheap to play and at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. I've played here a few times and despite losing a few balls in the rough (found a fair few as well!) I have never failed to enjoy myself.

Great for a beginner or if you want to improve your short game. Plenty of water to provide a bit more of a challenge. Admittedly the greens and fairways could do with a lot of work but again, you get what you pay for.

This is my regular course for a quick knock around at a fair price and would recommend it for others

if you are new to the game of golf and want to work on your short game in particular then this is an ideal place to start. There is a fair amount of water for such a small course and some of the greens are difficult to hit. However course quality is fair at best, no specialist treatment given to greens, same as a well cut back garden and the rough is very very rough (nothing worse than losing a ball when its just 6 feet off the fairway). Most bunkers have more stones in than sand. Due to the quality of the greens do not expect to score low. However golf is what you make of it, if your having fun then and you know what to expect before you get there you'll have fun regardless

Good for new players, not a very big course but still good fun!
