Not my sort of course and found it to be overrated, the second nine was pleasant but the first nine was a bit like crazy golf up and down with very tight fairways but I can see why it has produced some good golfers. Very friendly staff.

A very impressive drive through the course to the car park. Club house is very elegant looking, could not find the pro shop ending up going in to the clubhouse which has an intercom to enter. having found pro shop which was stocked with lots of accessories then found sign indicating pro shop on way back to car. A very hilly course which would be a tiring walk if you were carrying. Greens were good. Some long holes which would favour the big hitters. The views were nice as were the houses surrounding the course.

Course is very tight and not particularly long. Lots of shots over other greens and holes. Was in good shape and greens are true

A very challenging course, the first 9 holes the terrain is undulating and tight in parts quite hilly. The back 9 totally different you would think your playing a different course, open and flat compared with front nine, all in all great challenge.

Course was testing with excellent greens. Clubhouse though was very dated and looked like one of those 'little chefs' that you find on the motorway, all run down and tired.

Great Conditions & Starts off very interestingly

We were lucky to play in excellent conditions & the course looked fabulous. Starts off very interestingly but once the back 9 is underway fairways get wider & had a little bit of that up & back feel. That said I enjoyed the views & the greens were fair.

Great Development

I am a member and played here the most this year. Development of practice and driving range means it is best club in north east London Essex border.

This is a pretty course in the country side within the M25. The front 9 is a bit hilly. The fairways were a little dry but the greens were excellent.

Worth a vist

Nice course - tight fairways many of which bit untidy due to recent weather. Nice greens - would be deadly fast in summer. Quite hilly front 9 but definately worth a visit

Very good value at £20 after 2pm weekdays. Well kept private course. Some of the tees go over the previous greens, which could cause delays if the course is busy. Not a problem when we played though.

Good challenging course

I played at West Essex as part of a golf society day. It is a nice looking course with some lovely vistas of London through the many trees. There are some interesting and challenging holes and the course is well kept, the bunkers especially so. We had good food in the clubhouse and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would go back again.
