Quality Course and facilities
Played here last week with my son. Course was in tip top condition and fairway grass short and lush. No weeds in sight and ongoing maintenance evident. Great smooth and fast greens some with tough slopes. (Try and stop your ball on the 4th if you can.)A new Range with Trackman shot info and a good putting green adjoining the terrace. Extensive lunch menu and bar choice. Thoroughly enjoyed my round. A tough course but you won’t lose too many balls playing here. Must be one of the best courses in Essex / East London situated in Chingford E4. M25 10 mins away.

What a lovely course
Every hole has a different challenge to be faced. No two are the same. Greens in great condition. Some fairways (on the back 9 especially) seem to be recovering from last years scorching, but nothing to spoil your round. It's quiet hilly so consider a buggy. The clubhouse is excellent and there are very clear signs that money is being invested in the course. The staff are very welcoming.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 14.8)

What amazing changes
I played West Essex golf club the other day having not played it in a long while. First of all the condition was first class, the greens were fantastic for this time of view. Since I last played they have made a lot of changes, a fantastic new Trackman range, some new hazards on the back 9 making it even more tricky that it was before. Finally they have spent a lot of money on the bar area, it looks brilliant and the food and drink was first class.Reviewer Rating

Great Conditions & Starts off very interestingly
We were lucky to play in excellent conditions & the course looked fabulous. Starts off very interestingly but once the back 9 is underway fairways get wider & had a little bit of that up & back feel. That said I enjoyed the views & the greens were fair.Reviewer Rating

Great Development
I am a member and played here the most this year. Development of practice and driving range means it is best club in north east London Essex border.Reviewer Rating

Hidden Gem in Essex
is one of the best decent Golf Course around Essex London. The clubhouse is superb and the management team including the pro at the pro shop is very helpful. The course is being maintained very well and it is worth the money to become part of the community there.Reviewer Rating

Good challenging course
I played at West Essex as part of a golf society day. It is a nice looking course with some lovely vistas of London through the many trees. There are some interesting and challenging holes and the course is well kept, the bunkers especially so. We had good food in the clubhouse and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would go back again.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 110 Handicap: 31)

What a gem
Played here last week and have to say it is a little diamond of a course. Front nine very tight with holes 3 through to 6 very pretty, back nine more open with the 17th and 18th being the most interesting. Greens were true and fast and overall condition was excellent. Will definitely be returning in not too distant future.Reviewer Rating
