Decent course
Played here today after looking for a non boggy winter course. It was an enjoyable completely boggy free round. It’s a tad scruffy in patches but for £18 Saturday morning round it was good value for money.Reviewer Rating

Challenging course
Good little course, not long but with some challenging hazards. The 11th is a thinking man's hole!Reviewer Rating

The ugly sister
Waterhall is a short quirky course complete with footgolf and occasional dog walkers. At the top of the hill is the Dyke Golf Club, the big brother of Waterfall just down the hill and could be described at the ugly sister, but this would be cruel. This is a great course to learn on and many in the Sussex area will play some rounds here to practise. You have to be a mountain goat with legs of iron to get around this course. For the price £9.50 for a twilight round you can't beat it.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 85 Handicap: 0)

Winter rules still in force
Considering the rain the course drins well. Green been airiated so a little bumpy and the tees very uneven through grass growth. Greens ok as a lot of rabbit dropping cleared to the sided. Considering its one of the few courses open cannot be too critical as it is short but testy. Not many flat lies(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 83 Handicap: 16.1)

Golf Course of Farmers Field?
Very average golf course not really well kept and felt like playing in an open field at many points(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 18.5)

Why is a great course so close to Brighton empty?
A challenge in winter but for ?11 ( via a deal) wonderful value for money. Very hilly but holes are fair, not ridiculously long.Reviewer Rating

Good condition but not very welcoming
We played Waterhall for the first time in possibly 3 years. The course was in very good condition - fairways and greens - and extremely good value at ?14 a round - surprisingly empty at that price.
Its a challenging downland course with a good variety of holes - requires a certain amount of fitness as there are some quite stiff climbs.
The club house is quite large and has good facilities but was not at all welcoming. Empty apart from the barman/club pro - coffee out of a machine in a paper cup - no food on display - no cold drinks in the fridge - just the odd golfer passing through to the gents.
