Nothing overstated about this linksy/inland course
Considering that it is on the Southdowns and it has been raining the last 2 dyas, course drains well with no evidence of standing water. In fact the Fairways are cut but you can't really tell where the edge is??? Greeens though nowhere near poerfect run true and fiarly straight. Tees are a bit under maintained but on the whole well worth the small price(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 14.8)

Course in good condition but one or two greens need a bit of TLC. Shame about the 4-ball infornt. Playing a match but no reason to be 2 1/2 holes behind and not any one through.

Course was in great condition despite heavy rain the previous day. Greens were great. Very hilly course but great for fitness!

First and foremost I have to say that I really enjoyed the day. Great value for the money!
Great views and some good holes. (Some pretty bland ones, too!). Quite hilly, generous fairways, smallish greens, which were in poor condition.
When I played it was very muddy around the tee areas.
Overall, good and would visit again!

Decent course, good layout and not overly tough, if you miss a fairway you can struggle to find your ball, fairways are generous though, incredible views all over the place, clubhouse is ok and very functional but could do with updating, considering its a council run course its quite good.
Not a gripe but more of a heads up, its very hilly so is not an easy walk for those that are not so good walkers.

Really beautiful course, it will test you and if your a beginner like me you might need a few extra balls with you. Large fairways let you hit a driver or two with confidence.

You get what you pay for at Waterhall. Very cheap and ideal to play after rain as its always dry underfoot (chalky). Greens very slow and some tee boxed are like the first cut. Interesting layout and could be very good with investment. Worth a knock for a cheap round on a wet day
