GReat course to play when all of the others are waterlogged. Up and downhill frequently so good to keep fit. Greens and course in good condition in October!

First ever round at Waterhall. The greens are quite small and extremely firm as the course is set on chalk downs so doesn't seem to retain water at all. Fairways were cut nice and short. This is an undulating course with a good variety of holes.
Definite good value for money and will be returning.

A good but tough course for £10.00 can't beat it especially when there are no temp greens.

Despite the deluge of water the course was in good condition. The food and welcome was very good.

great value course - played for £15 on a saturday morning in horrendous weather! - held up well considering the amount of rain we have had over the last month! be prepared for a walk; quite hilly in places....

Nice course with some good scenic holes. Very hilly so not for the unfit golfer. Booked via Teeofftimes.co.uk which saved a few pounds and made it unbeatable value for money.

A shortish but can be very tricky if the wind starts blowing. Good tees and good greens. Great views and some stunning holes. Still to reach the par 3 9th, 233yds over a ravine. A linksy feel to it as alot of bump and runs rather than target golf needs to be played.

For the money it is fantastic. Can get a bit busy at weekends. Views are great - when the wind blows its a different course full of challenges!! Only real letdown is the rabit holes on some of the fairways and the lack of distance markers for those of us who need a little extra help with our judgement.....

Very nice course, greens in good order and fairways very nicely cut.Good value for money.Nice in summer but don`t know what its lik in winter, Quite demanding i expect.

My Last ever round.......
This course is now closed for good. Was a fantastically cheap and cheerful place to play when conditions everywhere else were waterlogged. Though a short course was tough with the wind blowing over the south downs. There was a genuine threat that both the Public courses would close down at the end of March this year and so lose the most accessible playing fields when it is wet. However Hollingbury survived but Waterhall is no more :-(Reviewer Rating
