Very good condition, in the years I have been playing this course the condition continues to improve, the guy in the clubhouse was extremely friendly and helpful

Really beautiful course, it will test you and if your a beginner like me you might need a few extra balls with you. Large fairways let you hit a driver or two with confidence.

You get what you pay for at Waterhall. Very cheap and ideal to play after rain as its always dry underfoot (chalky). Greens very slow and some tee boxed are like the first cut. Interesting layout and could be very good with investment. Worth a knock for a cheap round on a wet day

Not bad for a council run course, but preferred the rounds at singing hills and east brighton

The course is in excellent condition. The better weather is just what the grass needed with excellent striped fairways. Greens are playing well but always tricky. Keep out of the rough because you will have trouble finding your ball. Get there soon as it is still quiet and Tee Off time is not a problem. The club house is adequate for a drink and snack but nothing special. With luck Martin will be on duty and will give useful advice on the course and golf (or life in general).
