Gorgeous sunny day. Great condition. A helpful tip would have been to always play a provisional ball if ever off the fairway as you rarely find a ball if hit in the rough

Probably the most unforgiving course I've ever played.
A proper challenge - no booming around drivers and hoping you get away with it - you won't!
Need another try - but price would probably deter me. Green fee should be nearer ?100

Walton Heath is simply an outstanding golf club. The courses are always presented in beautiful condition with fantastic and fast greens. It is not cheap to play here and green fees are around £150 but it really is a truly special place. The Ryder Cup was played here in 1981 and every year the USOpen qualifying takes place on the last Bank Holiday in May when you can see big names from the tour up close and personal.

Played the new course and its tougher than the old! strong winds made it play ALOT longer but it was still a great day out. Made to feel welcome as a visitor which is always nice.

Walton Heath steeped in history but seems still to be living off it. Layout is great but the on course conditions are poor for such a prestigious venue and a steep green fee to match

Managed to play with someone who was a member so had a decent discount off of the price. However, having looked at how much visitor green fees are it is quite steep. Despite that though the club seems to be very much orientated around a strong group of members which gives it a great feel with the people who are a part of it. It's very much steeped in history as well which gives the place a great amount of character.

Walton Health is an extremely nice private members club. The staff are welcoming and the service is excellent. The New Course was rather damp underfoot but considering the weather, this is not surprising. The green staff were sanding the surrounds of all of the greens and given the conditions and the time of year, the greens were very good. In the hight of summer, they are some of the best I have ever played on. The course is not cheap to play but what do you expect of a course which has hosted the Ryder Cup.

great value using their winter fee offer. despite it blowing a gale I really loved the new course (played the Old course 10 or so years ago) and the course was virtually empty. I got round in 2hrs 40 mins despite getting "lost" twice!
I was made to feel welcome in the clubhouse and on the course by the staff and members which is more than can be said of some less prestigious clubs I have played at!
