Very wet and muddy, several temporaries greens and off mats.
Several hedges taken down and the farm is now derelict. Could be some alterations in 2021 making this course even more of a challenge.

decent course, lots of water!!
First time playing this course. First hole is a decent par 5, then the next 5 holes are a bit sketchy, feels like you're playing in a field. from 8 on wards though it turns into a cracking course. good variety of hole and 17 is brilliant. lots of water so you need to keep it straight. greens were in good condition so worth another visit.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 80 Handicap: 11.3)

Great Value
Jumped on here whilst I was working in the area as it was local and only ?20 in the afternoon.Fairly open from the tee - couple of internal OOB to watch out for as a lot of the adjacent fairways are fairly close to each other.
Bunkers well placed from the tee and in good condition and the green were really good too.
Might not pose the toughest test but definitely worth a visit if you are local or passing and will be a good game for any ability.

Trent Lock
Trent Lock is a relatively short course but with some great holes , lots of challenging holes but you play sensibly a good score is there to be taken(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 16.7)

Sunday brisk round

Well maintained. Great course
Definitely would play again. Only criticism is a few holes are quite 'samey' in that the next fairway is just the previous one but in reverse. Did have some unique holes. One of the best maintained courses I've played since lockdown. Great greens.Reviewer Rating

Canalside 9 holes
Neat and challenging 9 hole layout. despite the atrocious weather that has plagued the area this winter it was playable and in surprisingly good condition. Much praise needs to go to the green-keepers.NB you might want to update this questionnaire see below where you refer to 2017!!!

9 Hole Corker.
Not your typical 9 hole add on. This course has some of everything; decent par 5s to stretch your legs, short par 3s with overhanging trees to make you think more. There?s water, trees, bunkers and a very cheeky par 4 dog leg that will guarantee at least 3 shots to the enclosed green if your tee shot isn't perfect. It really is a corking 9 holes and dare I say it, better than the best 9 holes from the riverside ?full? course over the road for triple the money.Reviewer Rating

One of my favourite courses over the years. The lenghen of several holes makes this course much more difficult. 15 , 16 , & 17 are tough finishing holes in par.

Canalside course
Course not too long being full size 36 par nine holes. Some holes are tight due to mature trees. I hit too many of those today. A very good difficult par 5 where the shot to the green is over water.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course
Very nice course, greens were not very forgiving when hitting the centre of the greens most balls would fly through the back. The 18th is worth waiting for, a lovely hole to finish on.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 15.8)

A short tricky course,fairways a bit rough in places but ok. Does need a little work like all do but should come good in summer. Going again in May so cant be that bad. Would recommend the place, staff are very friendly.

Poor condition
Not much good to say I’m afraid. Greens were rich hard and hollow tyned. Need watering. Fairways had massive amounts of flood or dry weather damage - wasn’t sure which. Won’t be rushing back as months of recovery work required.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 15.8)
