Great course
This course was in very good condition with only one green suffering from the rain. Lovely layout with very well placed bunkers a real feature, course is a good length and makes you think throughout especially on approach shots. Would recommend to everyone just wish they had a driving range but they do have a large practice area.Reviewer Rating

Thorpeness Weekend
Hospitality and accommodation very good but on course the fairways, some tee boxes and greens looking tired. No marshalling on course to move slow play along - 5 hour plus 4 Ball round not good.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course worth visiting
The course is set out very well the greens are very fast and hard to read, club house very nice and staff very friendly, well worth stopping of 3 rounds. Take a few extra balls(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 93 Handicap: 12.3)

Great Course
This is a great golf course from start to finish. There's plenty of trouble if you're not thinking your way round. Needs at least one visit. The greens are fabulously quick and true even in Feb.Reviewer Rating

Excellent Course
Thorpeness is a joy to play.It can be tight and tricky off the tee - this is due to the fact that the fairways are mostly lined with heather and gorse. Even a lower handicap player can expect to lose a ball or 2 here.
The layout is stunning and some of the most spectacular golf holes for miles.
Due to the nature of the course its very dry in winter months and provides a good option for those looking to avoid wetter courses.
I would 100% go back over and over again.

Old course lovely
Not much grass on the fairway dry summer. Hard holes small fairways as you would expect from an old course. True greens, £25.00 after 4pm played well today net 69 well pleased. Thorpness is a nice place to visit boating lake, cafes, windmill, house in the clouds. And the sea.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 12.4)
