What the club says: Halesworth Golf Club is situated just a few miles from the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coast and is set in 190 acres of stunning undulating countryside. We offer a wide range of top class facilities which include, an 18 hole championship golf course, 9 hole academy pay and play course, 10 bay driving range, a practice and putting green plus a golf shop stocked with all the top brands.

Excellent Course!
I was invited to play Halesworth by some friends who won a free round in a charity event. I knew nothing about the course before the invite but I have to say I was very impressed.Fast and true greens with immaculate fairways, even the tee boxes stood out. The course has a good layout and each hole gives you something to think about. It's the sort of course that gives you several different ways of playing it. Long hitters can score well with a number of shortish par 4s & 5s but accuracy is equally important. There are a number of genuine risk reward type holes that made for an exciting round for our four-ball.
The staff were all extremely welcoming and the members were very friendly out on the course and in the bar. I played during the afternoon, midweek so the course was quiet and pace of play was not an issue. I'd imagine on a busy day/time things could get a bit hectic as there are a couple of pinch points with some greens very close to the next tee box.
Overall, the course was in fabulous condition and I will definitely be looking to visit again. Well worth a look if you get the chance.

Nice course, everything in decent condition and an interesting enough layout. Open in character, but enough trees and gorse to pose a challenge.

Social golf
This was the first time that I've played the course, and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, apart from the weather, which could have been kinder, but then that's the English weather I suppose. A huge improvement since i last played here. The greens and the fairways were excellent - just a shame i could not live up to the surroundings.

Played at Halesworth for the first time today. Very impressed with the state of the course. Greens were in really good condition and fairly quick despite heavy rain. An eagle on the 18th made it a fantastic round!

A relatively new member here but loving the facilities here. The 18 hole course is challenging enough, especially when wind blowing about. The 9 hole course is ideal for testing newly-learnt techniques or check-up of technical sides of the game. Love the club house with good value for money food.
