What the club says: Beccles Golf Club is set on the heath to the north of the important Suffork market town of Beccles, Seen by many as the Suffolk Gateway to The Broads

The Golf Club has been in existance since 1899 and is a great place to play golf. The common is on the north side of the town with access via Common Lane. The club itself is voluntary run except for the wonderful part time greenkeeper who has transformed the greens back to their former glory.

An absolute gem frozen in time, this really is what golf is all about. I play at many courses in the area and i am still adement that Beccles has some of the best greens in the County. When the clubhouse is open you will do well to find more friendly and helpful people, what the club may lack in facilities it more than makes up with character. Surely worth the green fee?

set on common land, dog walkers have right of way and dont hurry themselves, so much rabbit droppings its best to wear wellies, and in the summer there are cattle out as well, the best and most challenging greens ive come across. only 9 holes.
