Very nice course with excellently maintained greens and fairways. The club house and staff have always put on a great spread for you events.

We had an excellent round, though the course had been closed as recently as Monday (two days before!), and we were not sure we would be able to use a buggy - we were! In excellent condition, though some of the greens were confusing speed-wise! I put that down to the heavy rain of recent days! The par threes were excellent - all protected by water! Good club house atmosphere, and excellent, good value food!! Heartily recommend!! Tony Glover

Society event on a dry but breezy day. Nice course that is good test for the standard player. Best greens I have played in UK this season, true and very nice pace.

lyneham golf course is now called the wychwood. it is a great course which gets better every time i play another.there is something there for the seasoned pro down to the beginner like myself.

Absolutely beautiful. Nothing wrong with the place. Only thing that spoilt my dad was slipping into one of the many ponds!!!

Nice course
I played The Wychwood as part of a small golf society. The course was in excellent condition, even after rain had fallen over the previous two days. It's a visually interesting course and certainly challenging enough for the majority of our players. The bunkers were all in good condition (always a sign of a well kept course) and the fairways were good despite the recent rain. The clubhouse is smart, if a little clinical and utilitarian, but we were given a good lunch of ham, eggs and chips (the ham was excellent!). We all had avery enjoyable day and we would definitely play at The Wychwood again.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 121 Handicap: 29.8)
