The 1st is a steady opener, being able to play an iron of the tee if needed or a steady fairway wood. The driver is an option but for the long hitters you could run out of fairway down the left, a soft dogleg left to right into a generous green with a bunker short left protecting it. The 2nd is one of the tighter tee shots depending on the tee position but find the fairway off the tee and again its a nice approach into a gentle green. The tricky par 3 3rd is an eye opener, over water and all carry its a tough one....depending on the wind if its into you face then pick a club commit and hope!
For me the the front 9 is a good strong 9, with opportunity for birdies and and good score but you have to on your game. The back 9 has a number of holes where position is key but the length of some of the par 4's still requires and good strong tee shot. The final hole is a beuty, real risk and reward, a good fairway wood can get you to the green....bail on it left or right and you will have a tough approach into probably one of the more undulating greens but this offers some good prtection to othwrwise a short par 4. Very impressed and would certai ly recommend playing. Good bar, friendly staff and a well stocked pro shop.

Played on the 12th May the course is in fantastic condition shame about my game. Considering the amount of rain we had the day before I was shocked to see the course open a big thank you to the groundsman that keep it looking good. Only down side is the price a little bit expensive.
