Course was very wet but greens were playable. Wouldn't pay any more than the twilight fee.

Extremely wet, quite a short course and water logged. Rough was very tough given how wet it was. Greens weren't too bad but some debris and didn't run as well as other courses with better drainage. I would only come back in the summer

A lovely spot
Improvements to the clubhouse and course are still ongoing, but moving in the right direction.Tee areas could still be improved (a lot of uneven areas) and the bunkers need some tlc and use of the same sand.
But located in a beautiful part of Kent this is a nice course, although in comparison to other similar clubs can be a bit pricey.

Have played here numerous times over the years, I’ve got to say the greens are the best condition I’ve ever seen them in. The one let down is the tee boxes. The grass was far too long in my opinion. The improvements that are being made are obvious to see and the club does have massive potential. Good value for money but was just put off by the scruffy tees.

Great green
Greens were in excellent condition, fairways average but bunkers poor. Rock hard sand.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 112 Handicap: 26.4)

Nice course in lovely Kent setting
The clubhouse at The Ridge has excellent and upgraded facilities for dining and services. The course sits well in the Kent countryside, a former orchard,still lined with laden apple trees. Whilst the condition of greens and fairways is acceptable in dry weather, and bunkers are fairly well stocked with sand, the course could do with a little more care and maintenance to smarten it up. It is quite flat, but some interesting holes. at a very reasonable green fee, I would certainly return.Reviewer Rating

My home course
A good interesting course created in an old apple orchard. The course has recently been sold and the new owners are making great improvements. The greens are really good at present.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 103 Handicap: 26.5)
