Course in very poor condition. You need to wipe mud of your ball every time you take a shot. None of the bunkers have been maintained and are therefore GUR. The greens are extermely bumpy.

Disappointed

We played on the course a few years ago and we were disappointed with the state of the tees and bunkers.
We returned as the course is under new management and hoped it had improved, sadly it hasn't. It is a course with a lot of potential but unfortunately it has not improved.

So many other options. Staff are uninterested and unhelpful - seemly only bothered that you pay and then allow them to daydream about something else. The greenskeeping staff need educating/firing as the greens were shocking, I\'ve putted on temporary green with shorter grass. The clubhouse shuts way before it should - especially when there\'s paying guests still on the course. Also having a family with a quad bike on the greens/fairways on the course made my blood boil.\The biggest issue is that this could be a fantastic course. Chart Hills, The Weald of Kent, Tudor Park, Cobtree Manor, Ashford, Tenterden, Bearstead, West Malling, Kings Hill to name a few that are in proximity and are either a/ miles better or b/ provide better value for money. \Terrible and unless I hear that they are under new management or ownership I refuse to go back.\I can\'t believe people think this is of standard and actually choose to return.

Nice breakfast upon arrival. But unfortunately the greens were in such bad shape this proved to be a waste of a bank holiday Monday. Especially after travelling 50 mins to get there. The greens were extremely long (have been playing 5 years and they were the longest I have ever seen) and they were also not true at all... When one of our group representing the 8 of us raised this with the Pro Shop he was dismissed with 'it's the only complaint all weekend', which quite frankly none of us could believe.

Not good enough for what it wants to be

Played here with a friend that’s a member for £35! Shocking the tees were in awful condition, the fairways were either like the 1st cut of rough at a good course or bare dirt, the bunkers should’ve all been GUR as they were horrific, it’s not the time of year as this isn’t at other local courses. It seems this club wants to look good (new pro shop &clubhouse) but not have a course that reflects that. With its location I’m surprised it’s still going as there are so many better courses around (Chart Hills, Bearsted, Tudor Park, the Weald of Kent, in fact just go to Leeds castle and do the 9 holes twice!). £35 for a guest rates outrageous considering it’s one of the worse kept courses I’ve played, and that I’ve played as a guest a courses like crowborogh beacon, littlestone, Canterbury, royal Wimbledon for £35. Then found out they charge £90 for membership!
It could be good with an owner/management willing to put it into the course and my friends excuses about Vovid can’t apply as other courses aren’t like this. Honestly the site should either be sold to someone that actually wants a good course or sold to build houses instead of this excuse for a course.

Looks like the course wasn't looked after during the lockdown. Fairways were rock hard and the greens need a lot of watering and attention.

Nice course.....BUT !

Played yesterday 6th Sept, On first hole group in front let 3 four balls through as kept waiting 15 mins looking for balls, play was SO slow, really needs marshalls, two ball behind us walked in ,as did we after kept waiting, so if you have a day to spare give it a try. Saw three people in a buggy ? Nice course, but needs control over players ,tee times and course etiquette.Have played here quite a few times, but seems to be getting worse.

I thought te cotrse is a bit expensive for what it is. i was fortunate enoght to be the guest of a member and it was still 25 for a wednesday afternoon. greens were lightning fast.

same staff as before behind bar/pro shop if you can call it one what a joke did not have a clue about anything service was terrible waited 45mins for breakfast after kitchen staff turned up 15 min late. course much the same as before ok
