Joined the club in July this year and have no regrets. The course has numerous dog legs which makes it very challenging. In order to score well you have to think seriously about every shot you play. The greens are very undulating which makes it a stern test. All of the staff that work at the course are always cheerful and most helpful.

Yesterday(26/8/18) we had the pleasure of playing The Ridge,although it rained from start to finish the course was in great condition,greens sodden but still very quick,fairways good,but I must mention the owners and staff,we were made very welcome on arrival and our meal after was a joy,we shall certainly be returning next year!!Reviewer Rating

Excellent
Played this course over 18 months ago. Promised I wouldn’t come back. Started hearing good things about this course and new ownership. Decided to give it ago. Played tues 31/7/18. What a turnaround. Clubhouse. Practice green. Range and even better the course. Tees and greens brilliant.fairways doing good depending we’ve had no rain. The bunkers were ok . But I heard from a member there in next years budget. It was that good I played again today.Reviewer Rating

Great course

Perfect condition
I played the course a few months ago, around the heavy rain, and the course was in an ok state, some very muddy patches but not bad. Played the course yesterday, and wow, it is im a perfect condition. The fairways were well cut, rough was even in good condition, and the greens were good. Took me by surprise, the firsr few wholes, the greens were very quick, but they slowed down as I got through the course. Overall, loved playing it yesterday, course is in great condition!!!Reviewer Rating

Awesome, what a difference a few weeks make
I have played The Ridge golf course several times this year and thought that it was in poor state, the rough and clover was running out of control... but when I turned up this time even before I entered the club house it felt and looked different.. I was greeted with laughed from the club house which I had never heard before. once I had entered the club house I was welcomed with a very polite and friendly staff member. I was informed that the Club had new ownership and they would appreciate my feed back once i finished...\I did not play very well but what a difference a few weeks make, the course was well defined, rough was under control and no sign of clover. for the first time the greens actually held a ball when struck properly... work was being done on the bunkers (this course has always had problems with bunkers) I spoke to one of the green keepers and he told me they were putting sand into the bunkers for a quick fix but they also have a plan to renovate all the bunkers over the next 5 years or so.\If this is the difference in a couple of weeks I can not wait to play it in a few months....Reviewer Rating
