Great Course pity about the weather
This was our annual society end of season round with xmas lunch. As we went to the 1st team we were treated to a short blizzard which quickly passed and the round completed in glorious sunshine, althoung temperatures were very low throughout the day. There were some parts of the course that were slightly waterlogged and some of the greens had been worked on and putts were take off line by grooves in the surface. But for the time of year and recent weather the course played well although long due to a very strong westerly wind. Hopefully weather will be warmer when we return in June 18.(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 102 Handicap: 20.6)

Great course it terrific condition
A great course which was in terrific condition, we did for the first time ever experience very poor etiquette from an extremely slow four ball who wouldn’t let us play through. We spoke to the Marshall but apparently they were locals playing a match?! Still no excuse for poor etiquette and making us play the front nine in nearly 3 hours????(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 20)

Played here a few times over the years and was disappointed with the course condition this time. Used to be one of my favourite courses but greens had been spiked recently from the looks of things and nearly all the tee boxes were in poor condition. The once bouncy fairways, now seem to have lots of divot marks. Still a great course but losing its appeal with me, hope the greenkeepers raise there game and make this course quality again?

There are so many holes where you stand on the tee and say "wow". Some good risk and reward holes, great use of lakes as hazards and superb tees, fairways and greens.
Played it for £40, which felt like an absolute steal at the end of the round.
I cannot recommend this course highly enough - just go and play it if you are anywhere near it.
Didn't eat/drink in the bar so can't comment on the food.

The facilities are to a high standard but I can't say I was overly impressed with the staff who did nothing above and beyond given how empty the venue appeared to be. It's setup for corporate events and you can definitely feel that.
Easy on the eye as a venue, very good golf course but I've been to better, friendlier places. For the money though, fantastic - booked a Sunday Saver through Golfbreaks.

Enjoyable round
Course in good condition with varied holes. Buggies expensive at ?40. Excellent halfway house. Awkward not being able to get buggies up to the car park.Reviewer Rating

Disappointed
Have plated here several times, but latest visit quite disappointing. For a course perceived as on of the best in the area the fairways and bunkers displayed a distinct lack of maintenance. Several of the bunkers towards the end of the course were littered with weeds. Greens were, however, good.Reviewer Rating
