A lot better than when I last played there!
The course holes are really good challenging enough for a public course. Fairways are maintained well, the greens were in a better condition this time not the best but playable, the Tee boxes are the biggest let down they are in very poor state which is a shame, the size of them they could be halved so one half is in play while the other side is repaired just a thought.

OK Course
Course is OK very flat and open no real hazards. Greens were slow and grass quite long. Fairways cut long, tees in not very good condition.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 101 Handicap: 18.2)

Worth playing, nice layout and great staff
Waterstock is well worth playing. It's easy to get to with a nice layout.Greens are large with nice shape, most rolled well.
They are plenty of trees, penalty areas and bunkers to trap a wayward shot.
Tees weren't very good unfortunately and some areas were very muddy.
The clubhouse isn't the greatest but we were made very welcome by the staff and food/drink was very good.
I would play again for sure.

Sandy tee boxes
The fairways and greens were in good condition, especially after the recent rain. Really let down by the tee boxes. Some interesting and challenging holes. Conveniently located just off the M40 which is a bonus.

Fair course
Lived locally for years but never managed to visit untill recently.Would not say it is a well kept course but lay out is ok..There is a brook that runs right through the course and is not easy to get over.Lots of trees and bunkers as well to keep you in check.Ignore the water in waterstock as there ain't any other than the brook/ditch.Tee boxes are awful and greens not the best but it's good value if you can get on at reduced price.

Worth a visit
A fair challenge for all levels of golfers. Friendly staff in pro shop and clubhouse.

Good course
As a beginner golfer course was challenging but there was good opportunities to score well on some of the holes, only downside play was very slow on the course, however overall a very enjoyable round of golf

Long and difficult course
Only fairways, no semi rough just rough. anything slightly offline very often results in lost balls.

Great course, pros, staff, food and drink
Lovely course with some great holes. Excellent condition considering the weather we have had. True greens lovely fairways and good tee boxes. The food in the clubhouse is excellent value for money, large portions and very nice. The staff are polite and courteous and always there to help. Kieran and Paul in the pro shop are great instructors. The par 3 course is a great way to warm up before a round or you can try the Driving range whichis a is very good too. You have a top100 course just next door and you often get members from there popping in for a round. Says it all. If I lived 20miles from here I would definitely be a member.

A cheap quick round
A nice course design let down a little by the condition of the course, particularly the greens, we must have repaired 4-5 pitch marks per hole!! Could be a really nice course with some investment, but if you want a quick hassle free round you could do much worse.
