What the club says: The Course Architect was Ryder Cup player, Guy Hunt - and was designed to be as challenging as it is picturesque. With a great many trees and the positioning of both sand and water the course is guaranteed to entertain golfers of all standards.
A 9 hole, par 68 golf course, with a comfortable clubhouse and well equiped Pro shop.

Awful
Terrible, very short, lumpy greens, noisy train line, tee boxes poorly maintained. Very slow play

Good little course not long but tight

pleasant and friendly course
On the plus side, it had a lot of interesting holes, and there was a good variety. The members were very friendly, and the greens were true.On the minus, it is quite short, and I did not use any of the long irons in my bag. The tees are also very close to greens, so it felt a little cramped.
However, as my local 9-hole, I will definitely come back.

Brilliant course. Exceptional staff
I was made to feel most welcome at ge is great little find.Clubhouse staff very attentive and very friendly. Just turned up on the off chance we might get a round and they fit us in and treated us like kings.
Greens were so true and fast. Fairways very tight with deceptive hazards!

Fantastic hospitality facilities
Due to an ongoing ankle injury and beIng somewhat ‘fair weather golfers’ We haven’t yet had the pleasure of getting out to try this course yet this year, we have however held a private function here on the recommendation of many ‘golfing friends’ following which I felt must leave a review on the fantastic service we received (in the hope that this reaches Nick and his team) Nothing too much trouble from start to finish, friendly, attentive, great facilities, and importantly... good bar prices! Looking forward to trying out this course as I must say the grounds looked impeccable when I visited

Excellent little course
Unbelievably dry and firm considering the wet weather we have suffered, excellent challenge and well worth a visit.(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 80 Handicap: 8.7)

Birthday round, my 'go to' course
This course is great for all levels. As a golf novice only in my 4th month, I have found this course to be the perfect training ground on which to cut my teeth. There are many challenges and hazards that give you a lot to think about and there are definitely trees that jump out in front of you and eat your balls
The staff are friendly and welcoming and if you're lucky enough to meet Roy on the back 9, him and his pals will applaud you in on the final putt.

(Round played: Jul 2016 - Score: 95 Handicap: 28)

Nice course, good condition, quality clubhouse.
(Round played: Jul 2016 - Score: 88 Handicap: 18)

(Round played: Dec 2015 - Score: 86 Handicap: 18.2)

9 holes each with 2 tee positions that vary significantly so flexible if doing 9 or 18 holes.
Brilliant club house. Reasonably priced and an a la carte restaurant too.

The downside is probably the condition of the greens, which were a little bit bumpy.
(Round played: Oct 2015 - Score: 91 Handicap: 14.5)
