What the club says: A unique nine hole golf course, set in the spectacularly beautiful Buckinghamshire Chiltern Hills. A serious challenge to the low handicap golfer, whilst still able to accommodate the higher handicap player or society member. With a chalk base giving ample drainage and the ability to hold moisture through some of the hottest summers the course will always tend to be in good condition.

A little gem
A cracking little 9 hoke course with some tricky holes, especially the par 4 fourth which plays like a par 5 and a leg 200 yd+ par 3 8th. 1st green is hidden.Reviewer Rating

A little gem of a course...
This is an absolute gem of a course. It's not long and it's only 9 hole, but don't let that put you off. Everyone is friendly; the pro, the members, the greenkeeping staff (who are doing a great job of looking after the course btw). It was in excellent condition and was a pleasure to play. Not a modern "grip it and rip it" course. After the first hole I left the driver in the bag, thought about where to put the ball, and started to score. I played 18 so went round twice, and the only slight niggle is that the 1st/10th tee was a bit of a pinch point. I'm nitpicking though, as otherwise I really enjoyed playing the course and will definitely come back as soon as I can.Reviewer Rating

Over priced- Rude
Called to make a booking. Booked for 9.30am. Arrived to play and was told we would be in the middle of the ‘roll up’. Being 9 holes twice they didn’t manage the existing players on the course coming to the 10th-1st hole.We waited 40 minutes as to not disrupt the group of seniors.
Eventually got on the course and was not overly impressed. Better off at Elleborough, better condition and friendlier staff.

The only down side was a distinct lack of car parking, apart from that all was good.

The course was in very good condition bearing in mind the amount of snow/frost we've had, with some interesting holes, playing across a valley on the par 4 7th and back again on the par 3 9th; though the blind second shot into the 1st green is a bit harsh on first-time visitors.
Good clubhouse with reasonably priced, and good quality, food and bar - a great spot amongst the Chiltern hills to enjoy a post-round drink on the terrace overlooking the 6th and 9th greens and 1st and 7th tees - plenty to keep you amused.
