Don’t understand the below reviews. Played the course today paid for 18 holes tees are in average condition considering this time of year when their is a lot of growth. Some greens are okay but the 13th hole on top of the hill is very poor as-well as the 8th and 5th. Hired a buggy for our round and was told they had been sanitised but ours clearly had not as we watched it come in and was told that’s yours. Do the staff understand what has happened in the past year. Club house is average no beer on tap only bottled. This place does need a management change for this course to flourish as it could be a gem. I won’t return until I hear of some drastic changes.Reviewer Rating

Awful!
I have played over 250 courses around the world and this was one of if the worst. A reception that was underwhelming. Toilets had no paper. Refreshments self served from a fridge.Nearly every tee box was in terrible shape. Most bunkers hadn’t seen a rake for weeks. Some had weeds coming out of them. Several greens unplayable.
Overall a serious disappointment.

When we arrived we were greeted by a rude gentleman who said sit in your car and don’t move basically treating us like school kids. Went to sign into the pro shop 10 minutes before our tee off very cold welcome like it was to much hassle to help us asked where we were going and got told use your eyes. Course was in terrible condition greens haven’t be swept worm casts everywhere/brown patches fairways were long the only good parts were some of the tees excluding the 4th which hadn’t been moved in days by the looks of it. Will not be returning until someone sorts that place out.

Below average
Course could be lovely but isn’t. Bunkers haven’t been raked in months weeds and stones in all of them Greens still had dew on them running very slow Rude man behind pro shop till swearing a lot. Driving range okay.Reviewer Rating

Shocking Greens
This is our go to winter course and have really enjoyed over the last couple of years. Great layout and drains really well. However we won’t be returning this winter as the greens were in a right state. Pitch marks everywhere and dissed grass in other’s areas. A lot of he greens had GUR areas marked off! Oh also may be time to invest in some range balls charging for those is a disgrace.Reviewer Rating

Course in truly awful condition for second year running.
Showers and toilets absolutely filthy and smelly
Staff v,freindy but too few.
No beer, cold food.

Members told us..The owner won't put any money in this course so this is what's happened,like playing on a field,greens are terrible,some even crowned,a waste of money playing here.

Had to play a match here yesterday 19 October 2014. The course was described to me as two fields joined together, three lengths of grass and 18 holes sunk into the ground. I know that the course is still young in golfing terms, but the 'greens' were awful. No matter how well you play, once you get to the green, it is just luck if you hole anything! Inconsistent grass, very damaged surfaces and unless you are a beginner just looking for somewhere to knock it about, a waste of time and money.

Poor service told no buggies allowed after 4pm as everyone wants to get off home, fairways like farmers field, but still not as bd s the greens absolutely terrible worst I've ever seen ! The course is obviously neglected, that bad I felt the golf shop when booking should advise the customer that greens are in poor condition, i would have complained but the whole placed was locked up clubhouse and all at 7:30 pm don't waste your money here

Never played a course in such dreadful condition. Greens burnt brown due to failure of the irrigation system and virtually impossible to putt on. Tees absolutely rock hard and finally no catering on a Monday. Never again !

Okay course
Good views /Nice scenery. Overall the course was in poor condition which I guess is due to covid/Xmas break and lack of green staff? I wouldn't think playing in early January the course would be in top condition but the tees/bunkers and greens were very poor. I'm sure the conditions will improve in the near future.Reviewer Rating
