What the club says: Come and play at our friendly golf course, in the beautiful North Hampshire countryside. We offer an 18-hole course of up to 6,703 yards in length, with excellent playable greens, all year round. The course is one of the driest in the areas and continues to improve thanks to our team of diligent greenkeepers. The downland fairways, bunkers and water features offer a fun but fair challenge for all golfers.

Played the course yesterday with a 4 ball. From first entry to clubhouse to leaving the course the experience was fantastc. I would have given the review a max 10 but unfortunately, like many clubs these days, the members let the course down by not repairing pitchmarks.

A bit wet, but course in good condition
After all the recent rain I expected the course to be boggy, but to be fair the actual course was in very good condition, although getting between holes the "paths" were really wet and muddy. A lot of these aren't actual paths and so these were messy to negotiate. But the green were in great condition. Pity we had to play off mats. An enjoyable day though.Reviewer Rating

Mud free golf

Pretty woodland course

First Time Round Test Valley
Great course great people Ed & Maria in the golf shop were so nice and helpful.The par fives were long but gave a good chance to score well. Greens were starting to speed up and fairways in great condition.

Featureless
Could be anywhere - Long and fairly featureless - all tends to blend into one. Not particularly memorable as a course but greens very fast. Course map a must as easy to confuse which hole comes next and where the green is. Especially on the hard left dog-leg 8th as the flag for the 15th green is visible straight ahead. So unless you know it's a dog-leg, you'll be aiming for the wrong thing.Reviewer Rating
