Played the course yesterday with a 4 ball. From first entry to clubhouse to leaving the course the experience was fantastc. I would have given the review a max 10 but unfortunately, like many clubs these days, the members let the course down by not repairing pitchmarks.

A bit wet, but course in good condition
After all the recent rain I expected the course to be boggy, but to be fair the actual course was in very good condition, although getting between holes the "paths" were really wet and muddy. A lot of these aren't actual paths and so these were messy to negotiate. But the green were in great condition. Pity we had to play off mats. An enjoyable day though.Reviewer Rating

Great course worth a visit
Varied course in the Hampshire countryside bordered by a railway line so occasionally noisy. Varied challenges on chalk so well drained in the winter, course in excellent condition with no muddy patches. Some greens have slope challenge, ran true but need to have the pace of your first putt right to avoid three putting. Excellent clubhouse and range, welcoming friendly staff. Good test for all
Some long but achievable par 5's and tricky par 3's. Good doglegs around the course making you think about positions. Rough not over penalising allowing some recovery rather than lots of lost balls!(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: )

A good find - worth checking out
We attended Test Valley for a friends work day and had a really good time. Friendly welcome in a nice clubhouse. Course was interesting and a new challenge - really enjoyed the day. We will definitely be returning(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 99 Handicap: 27.2)

Nice and challenging course the greens seemed super fast, credit to the green staff. They'll have their work cut out to get the fairways back to life after this dry spell. Well worth the money and I would 100% recommend to any golfer to give it a try.

A good test for all abilities. Good condition with work going on to improve the bunkers. Like so many courses, needs some rain...but all in all, a lovely little gem, tucked in the Hampshire countryside

Course playing nicely after a long relatively dry summer. Greens a very nice speed for me and good quality still (apart from the 8th). Service was friendly, nothing like a US course, but good enough.
