Funky greens
Course is in good condition; good greens with some fairly big slope on some. Some tricky holes ie stroke 1. Lots of water and rough fairly heavy if you find it. Pace of play was good, two groups let me through; which is not the case everywhere. I found it challenging. Handicap 6: score 86. 40 and 46.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Lovely course with some very interesting holes the par 3 are very tough the longest being over 210 yds the water comes into play on 4/5 holes the greens were very fast(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 19.9)

Interesting layout and in great condition
I have played Sutton Green a number of times and it is always an enjoyable round. Last year the condition had suffered due to the weather but it was in fantastic condition this time - smooth greens, lush fairways and tees. Definitely worth playing. It's rarely busy and pace of play is good.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 76 Handicap: 3.4)

Nice course. Not very hard...but never easy playing the first time. Would have been nice if we had been allowed to play of the back tees.

Hadn't played here for a while but choose to knock it round at twilight when the course was quiet. Excellent deal @ £15. Course was in great condition given the recent dry weather and greens were quicker than I expected. Interesting layout which is a decent test and well worth playing.

Sutton Green Review
After the overnight rain the course was set up nicely and it was a pleasure to be back.Fairways are coming back into their own after the hot weather and the greens were quite quick.
Excellent welcoming staff and hospitality.

Good layout, interesting course and fast pace of play
I have played Sutton Green a number of times. The course was just starting to recover from the long hot summer and the greens had recently been hollow cored so it was not in the condition that it can be but the greens still ran very true despite being a bit slow. In a month's time, I am sure that the course will be back to the great shape it is typically in. Sutton Green is a very playable course but each hole is different and you need to play well to score well. Well worth a visit for a friendly welcome and a quick pace of play.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 72 Handicap: 4)

Poor Practice GREEN FEE 2-4-1 Voucher
We booked 2 ball using a voucher. Published price on booking online portal was £25/head. We expected to pay £25 and were charged £50/one player 2nd player free with voucher.We queried this with club who explained they use their standard rate which is not published on website. So we simply could have booked online and paid £50 anyhow without wasting a voucher. This has been taken up with the club and voucher company.
Other than that. Dry fairways obviously. Had a good round but on a rather up and down boring course. Held up by slow 4-Ball

Despite the heat/drought, greens very well maintained. Pleasant landscape and course layout, friendly clubhouse. Sometimes very attractive rates available online.
