We played this course on a windy dry day. The fairways were in excellent condition. The greens were true and quick. The halfway hut was open with a great variety of drinks available. Lovely clubhouse and amenable staff.

Course was wet in places but everywhere is at the moment. Greens were good, very nice in clubhouse

Nice Course
Despite all the rain on Saturday the course was open for play on Sunday.The greens were in good condition and gave a true roll and the fairways were in good condition in most areas. Some bunkers had water in them but this was not surprising given the downpour. This didn't spoil the outing.
No restaurant breakfast but a good cafe in the village.

Sutton Green on a Sunday
Invited to play with a member and had an enjoyable round at Sutton Green. Good mix of longer and shorter holes with some challenging greens. Feel like there's a good score to be had. Look forward to returning(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 107 Handicap: 34.6)

Good day out
Course is in good condition with some well thought out holes and some that seems to be forced. But in all a really nice course for the price.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 83 Handicap: 10.9)

Great course
Always in good nick and worth playing though can be a bit pricey.Greens faster than what i'm used to.
Great Halfway House as well!

Played Sutton green when I first opened 25 years ago and again recently during the COVID pandemic , the greens and fairways were in great condition and with the 8 min tee times meant your not under pressure with rate of play, this is a well managed golf course and well worth a round if you haven’t already played it, full credit to the staff at SGGC for providing us with an enjoyable round of golf in these difficult time.

cut the grass!!
Great course but fairways could do with a trim.. 1st cut in better nick than fairways! Crows have been digging up greens which isn't the courses fault but frustrating when you putt... a bit of love would make this course awesomeReviewer Rating
