brilliant course, good price. Halfway house very good with bacon sarnies and tea cooked in advanced for you from the tee order via walkie talkie.

Top course the rough has been cut which helps with scoring but the course is in top condition and the greens are running true

Stoke Rochford lived up to its publicity - an unexpected gem right next to the A1 near Grantham. Some great holes through mature trees, with links-like fairways - plenty of nice tight lies, some challenging holes where local knowledge would definitely be an advantage (!) and at this time of year the rough isn't too long yet! The greens have some awkward slopes, and are true and fast, so if you take fewer than 36 putts in your round you have done well! In another couple of weeks (end of May) the course will be at its best, and well worth a visit. They take the England Golf County Card, so for £19 on a weekday, got to be great value for money! We were welcomed in the clubhouse, the catering was excellent with a wide choice of snacks, and the members were all very helpful and friendly. Will definietely be going back!

Excellent course in great condition and, with twilight green fee of £10 after 4pm, the best value for money I've had. Greens rolled well and felt true.

The best course around within half hour of our base . The club is doing a fantastic deal to play over the winter months till the end of March it's £80.
The course is in really good condition now that the rough has been cut back making it a better course.
