Beautiful fairways and challenging greens.
This course is well worth a visit. From the first hole there are challenges to be had. The fairways are kept in first rate condition and the greens are challenging and fast. Some very picturesque holes with views of Stoke Roachford Hall in the backdrop.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 77 Handicap: 11.9)

Excellent course in great condition and, with twilight green fee of £10 after 4pm, the best value for money I've had. Greens rolled well and felt true.

Good course, great views
Society day, excellent weather. Good course with a wide variety of holes - some long and challenging par 4s, some short and quriky ones. Greens large and tricky to read, especially as they've been recently sanded and spiked. A good day.Reviewer Rating

What a course... challenging
Never been on a course that has so many signature holes... green were fast as fk.. but course was in tip top condition.. played out my skin.. the holes around the centre were difficult but managed to get some great shots.. defo play again.. downside its an hour away... also great cake to buy.. 100% with everything...(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 103 Handicap: 20.4)

A course in glorious condition
Having played many courses in this area, Stoke Roachford is by far the best course. It's unfortunate position on the Nothbound carriageway of the A1 should not stop anyone from giving this well kept and challenging course a go. The greens are in excellent condition, fast and very challenging. The fairways are plush and are in great condition, despite the lack of rain. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the food is good and reasonably priced. All in all an enjoyable visit to a great golf course.Reviewer Rating

Wonderful Course
Challenging course with some long par 4's but very enjoyable.The greens were in fantastic condition and the friendliness of the staff was second to none. The food was even better!

Lovely settings, Hilly course
1st time i've played the course today even though i only live about 5 miles away. Was a lovely course in very good condition. Was a nice testing course & it was a hilly course. Lovely way to spend 4 hours(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 17)

May mens open, smashing welcome
Small practice area near 18th green, the course in good condition but greens 3 types of grass but putted OK just looked average. fringes rock hard in MAY and plenty of bare areas. rough cut down and hay everywhere. 14 onwards spoil the course for me, not a great layout or overly interesting.Organisers excellent and really lovely welcome and the club, sadly not for me sorry for being harsh.
I was recommended the course by a friend and made the 1hr30min drive really didn't merit the effort but at £15 not the end of the world.

Quality Golf
This course oozes quality from tee to green and more.The fairways were adding thirty to fifty yards to our drives with run rather than bounce.
Fantastic greens that challenged both reading the line judging the pace.

Stoke Rochford lived up to its publicity - an unexpected gem right next to the A1 near Grantham. Some great holes through mature trees, with links-like fairways - plenty of nice tight lies, some challenging holes where local knowledge would definitely be an advantage (!) and at this time of year the rough isn't too long yet! The greens have some awkward slopes, and are true and fast, so if you take fewer than 36 putts in your round you have done well! In another couple of weeks (end of May) the course will be at its best, and well worth a visit. They take the England Golf County Card, so for £19 on a weekday, got to be great value for money! We were welcomed in the clubhouse, the catering was excellent with a wide choice of snacks, and the members were all very helpful and friendly. Will definietely be going back!

Great Course
Went on a winter warmer , ?38 with bacon cob and coffee before tee off. Course was immaculate given all the rain, it obviously dries really well. No boggy areas at all. Fairways ran well and greens were quick. Some good holes and nice setting. Recommend it.Reviewer Rating

Excellent Course, really nice people
Played with friends as a fourball early in the year. The course was in good condition and the greens good. The course is quite open so helpful when my tee shots were not straight. Most holes are easy to see where you are going with plenty of elevation changes particularly in the loop.The pro shop was very friendly and helpful and let us go early as the members had not used all their reserved slots. The clubhouse was clean and tidy and the staff friendly and welcoming. We will be going back next year.

Hidden gem
